Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website at downeyinsulation.com (the "Site") or by engaging Downey Insulation ("we", "our", or "us") for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or services.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Downey Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related work. Services are provided in Downey, California and surrounding cities as described on our Site.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service offering at any time without prior notice.
Any estimate or quote provided by Downey Insulation - whether verbally, in writing, or through our website - is an approximation based on the information available at the time. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal signed by both parties prior to work beginning.
Prices may change if conditions discovered during the job differ materially from what was described or observed during the initial assessment - for example, existing damage, pest activity, or access difficulties not visible at the time of estimate. We will notify you of any price change before proceeding with additional work.
Appointments are scheduled based on crew availability. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within any agreed time window. Delays due to traffic, weather, prior job overruns, or other circumstances outside our control may occasionally occur. We will notify you as promptly as possible if a significant delay is anticipated.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as early as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee to cover mobilization costs, at our discretion.
Payment terms are specified in the written proposal for each project. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept common forms of payment as described in your proposal. Invoices not paid within the agreed terms may be subject to a late payment fee.
Disputes about payment must be raised with us in writing within 10 business days of invoice delivery. We will work in good faith to resolve any billing discrepancy.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property when requesting a quote or scheduling service. You agree to ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled service date. If work cannot proceed because access was not provided as agreed, we reserve the right to charge a trip fee.
Where applicable - such as after spray foam application - you are responsible for following all re-entry instructions provided by our crew before returning to the treated areas of your home.
We stand behind our workmanship. Any specific warranty terms for a project will be set out in the written proposal.
Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including water intrusion from pre-existing leaks or structural issues, pest activity after service completion, modifications made to the work by anyone other than Downey Insulation, or natural disasters. Material warranties are governed by the respective manufacturer terms.
THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT ON THE SITE.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Downey Insulation and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our Site or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
